Spice Girls

There are 5 members in the girl group and each member was designed to target a different area of society to try and increase the typical girl group market.

Mel B 'Scary Spice' = Bold prints and colours, leopard print, big afro.
Mel C 'Sporty Spice' = Tracksuits and sports wear, hair tied in a pony tail.
Emma 'Baby Spice' = Short dresses hair in pig tails 'cutesie look'
Geri 'Ginger Spice = Union Jack dress, very revealing clothes, ginger hair
Victoria 'Posh Spice' = Black dresses and stilettos, sleek hair 

Wannabe - 1996
The music video has an introduction of the girls together messing around outside a hotel 'spice girls' pops up in bold red letters. As this music video is of their debut song it is trying to get as many people as possible to remember the spice girls name. Throughout the video the girls are together which mirrors the lyrics of the song 'friendship never ends'. 'Girl Power' is also a big message in this video as the girls making fun of old beliefs and religions buy stealing a priests hat.
There is a short choreographed dance routine in the video to show that they are performers and they also sing to the camera as if sending a message to the audience. This is something that we should think about including in our music video.
